Advantages of our Polymer Heat Exchangers SYNOTHERM®
Unique chemical resistance
SYNOTHERM® polymer heat exchangers complement the complete range of metal plate heat exchangers and coated plate heat exchangers with their excellent chemical resistance. The heat exchangers are made of PP or PVDF plastic with PFA hoses. This allows them to be used in a wide range of alkaline and acidic process media, even at higher temperatures.
Robustness ensures extended service life
The frame construction of the SYNOTHERM® polymer heat exchangers ensures that the polymer heat exchanger remains dimensionally stable during use. In addition, the tube wall thickness is selected to provide high stability and good heat transfer. The materials used have been selected based on our decades of experience in the field of temperature control of aggressive media. The polymer heat exchanger is therefore designed for a long service life.
High quality PFA tubes
The tubes of SYNOTHERM® polymer heat exchangers are made of PFA, which, like PTFE, is a fluoropolymer. PFA is a particularly high-quality plastic and, compared to PTFE, is characterized by higher temperature and pressure stability. PFA is extremely chemically resistant. Compared to PTFE, the polymer also has the advantage of better non-stick properties, which makes cleaning easier, especially in the spaces between the tubes. The tubes are transparent, allowing you to assess their proper functioning at a glance.
Individual power calculation and design
We can calculate the required thermal output of SYNOTHERM® polymer heat exchangers based on the intended operating parameters. The appropriate size is then selected from a range of different sizes. Our 3D CAD drawings enable precise integration into the tank. After placing your order, you will receive the production drawings for approval, which can be provided in various CAD formats. Based on this information, you can optimally design and construct your plant or tank.
